[Performed by the students of Ramakrishna Mission Boys Home PTTI, Rahara,West Bengal]

GuruSaday Dutt's target was to enhance patriotism among the youth, not only among men but among the women also. He sincerely composed Bratachari Dance steps allying with 'Alaji', 'Satyaji' and 'Priyaji' for both men and women. Apart from 'Raibeshe' Bratachari Movement had influenced by other folk dance forms of Bengal and India.
‘Kathinach’ is quite similar with the Gujrati dance form ‘Dandiya’.Guru Saday Dutt combined 'Kathi nach' with his own written song “kathinach korite sobe re”.In Primary and Secondary level Bratachari courses kathi nach are taught.
Guru Saday Dutt's activity was the conjunctive factor between  Traditional Bengali Dance forms and modern Bengal. He extricated veil upon 'Dhamail','Jari' etc. In the colonial period he took initiative to reconcile swadeshi and Traditional dance formats.GuruSaday used this sort of dance forms as a weapon to invase his 'Swadesh Bhawna'. He dreamed for a strong youth brigade of motherland who can serve nation fearlessly also in a bloodshed. So, he picked up these kind of forgotten dance formats from the all edge of Bengal and all over the India to inspire and train youth along with immense pleasure, joy and physical exercise. 'Tipri' , 'Konkoni Machhua', 'Garva', were also included into 'Bratachari Nrityali' .
He never hesitate to take into these songs and dance forms. The main objective of choosing whether it is song or dance  was to simultaneously execute both physical exercise and spiritual messages of freedom struggle.
In the advance level Bratachari trainning, trainees are often taught the various popular folk formats around India(For example-Garva of Gujrat,Bhangra from Punjab,Konkani machhua from Maharastra). Actually GuruSaday tried to make a garland by plucking different folk flowers around India. Whereever he went in India he excerpted local folk tradition. Nabanidhar Bandyopadhay was patronised by Gurusaday to rearrange Jhumur song (Folk form of Singbhum area) and Raibeshe Dance forms. Folk drums such as Dhol,Dhamsa,Madol was the soul of these songs, this reason auspicated  'Bratachari Nayakmondali '(trainners) created scripted musical notes for this instrument.
In his book "Folk Dances of Bengal" GuruSaday Dutt told that whether all of us could not agree to peersue our duties to our soil then we could never be a 'Biswa-Bratachari'
So, he choose the sent of our soil to create a responsible resident of India who can carry forward our Freedom struggle.
A snap was taken during the Performance (Ramakrishna Mission Boys' Home PTTI,Rahara 2013-15 batch)

Apart form spiritual objectives Pre-independent national consciousness Bratachari movement may gradually developing into a pivotal practice in the educational institutions especially in school level.
